Image Awards 2013 vincitori: Red Tails miglior film

Agli NAACP Image Awards 2013 è duello tra l’ultimo film di Tarantino e l’ultima fatica di Zemeckis.

UPDATE 2 FEBBRAIO 2013: Sono stati annunciati i vincitori: Red Tails è il miglior film, Denzel Washington per Flight e il migliore attore protagonista, Viola Davis per Won’t Back Down è la migliore attrice protagonista. Samuel L. Jackson e Kerry Washington, grazie alle loro interpretazioni in Django Unchianed sono i migliori attori non protagonisti. Premiati anche Beast of the Southern Wild (anche per la regia di Benh Zietlin), The Intouchables, On the Shoulders of Giants – The Story of the Greatest Team You’ve Never Heard Of.

Nomination

La National Association for the Advancement of Colored People ha annunciato le nomination dell’Image Awards 2013. Nelle categorie cinematografiche è sfida aperta tra Flight, il film drammatico di Robert Zemeckis, e Django Unchained, il film d’azione di Quentin Tarantino, entrambi nominati quattro volte. Nella categoria miglior
film i due pezzi da novanta se la dovranno vedere con Beasts of the Southern Wild, Red Tails e Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds.

Nella categoria migliore attore è probabile che il duello sia tra Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained) e Denzel Washington (Flight) con Morgan Freeman, Tyler Perry e la novità Suraj Sharma come possibili sorprese. Nella categoria migliore attrice la favorita è Halle Berry (Cloud Atlas), più defilata Quvenzhane Wallis, insieme a Viola Davis, Loretta Devine e Emayatzy Corinealdi.
