Adam Wingard è un regista, attore e scenografo statunitense nato il 3 dicembre 1982 a Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Laureatosi alla Full Sail University nel 2002, ha esordito con l’horror-commedia “Home Sick” e il thriller “Pop Skull”. È noto per la regia di film come “You’re Next”, “The Guest”, “Blair Witch”, “Death Note” e “Godzilla vs. Kong”. La sua opera spazia tra diversi generi, guadagnandosi riconoscimenti nel circuito dei festival internazionali.
